Arte Caffè Italian Bakery & Restaurant
In the heart of Bradenton’s Village of the Arts, Arte Caffè offers more than a meal — it offers a journey to Italy.
Founded by Remo and Meridith Mambelli, the café was created from a longing to share the simple, soulful flavors of Remo’s homeland. “I’m trying to bring the real deal — a simple taste of Italy,” Remo says. And that promise is felt in every dish that leaves the kitchen.
Remo arrived in America in 1990, carrying with him the memory of his mother’s cooking — the aromas that filled their family home, the patience of handmade recipes, the reverence for fresh ingredients. Those early lessons stayed with him through 15 years in Manhattan’s restaurant world, where he refined his craft and met Meridith, who would later become both his partner in life and in hospitality.
Together, they brought Arte Caffè to the Village as a place to linger — where pizzas are crafted with care, sauces simmer with tradition, pastries are baked with love, and conversations stretch long past the last sip of espresso.
After strolling the colorful streets and galleries of the Village of the Arts, step inside and let the warmth of Italy welcome you. Here, meals are meant to be savored, friendships are nourished, and every table feels like family.
